Happily Ever After (?)

I watch "The Cinderella Story" this afternoon.
And I suddenly realise.

Cinderella met up with many unfortunate events.
She had up and down in life too.
Her 'down' is so much more than her 'up'.
Even so, she ended happily ever after.

Regardless how unfortunate Cinderella is, she gets a happily ever after.
Does this apply to everyone in life?

Happily ever after.
How nice to hear this sentence always.
In drama, fairytales, novel, 99% of the time ends with happily ever after.
Expected ending.
In real life, how many happily ever after happen?
I guess not everyone gets that.
Well, who don't wish to get happily ever after?

Two people can get happily ever after.
One person can also get happily ever after.
So what is your definition of happily ever after?

Oh! Mine is simple.
Happy family, happy career, less trouble and stress, more happiness.
So this is my happily ever after.

And for now, I just want something simple in my life.
Slowing down of pace and everything.
That is all I want for my "happily ever after".

Suddenly, I feel that happily ever after is all crap.
Since young, all cartoons and drama shows that.
Happily ever after = meeting your prince.
And I realise, it may not be happily ever after even if you meet someone.
Oh well.
There is no such thing as 'your prince' in the world.

Happily ever after
I want my happily ever after too.
However, it seems so far away..
When I will get my happily ever after?
Don't know but I care.
