Anne's Birthday

Ok, I am having some time off so I decided to dust off the cobwebs accumulated by my blog.
Life haven’t been easy for me. School is stressful. I am breaking down thanks to all the tutorials. Thank goodness, I have friends who are previously from jc and they are being bugged by me. Even so, I cannot depend on them always isn’t it? I should really understand the topic before I can start doing my tutorials. Yes, I said so but the fact is, I don’t understand a single thing.
I know I don’t know, but I don’t know what I don’t know.
On a happier side, I am 20 now! The big 2 on the front, no more 1. I don’t feel any difference seriously. Just that the number of candles decreases on the cake. Other than that, nothing seems different. I remember uncle kept telling me that when I reach the big 2 in front, I will feel old. Haha! Uncle, I felt nothing eh!
I celebrate my birthday with 4 different group of people. One on the actual day itself, the others are all belated. I was busy the week before. Ah~

Right, I have school until 4.30pm today. I celebrated my birthday with my orientation clique. It was meant to be a surprise for me but for some reason, I knew it. LOL! The organiser, wan jing, left us for some other things~ Ah~ So the dinner went on without an organiser =x
We went fish and co @ jurong point for dinner. I was told that in jurong point, there is something super embarrassing that will happen. Oh well, I think I should expect it. We went for dinner, chit chat, photo taking and many other stuff.
Then I was invited to stand on a chair with two other belated and be-early birthday boys from jjc. Thank goodness they are with me, else I will be super embarrassed with everyone looking at me. We are given an ice cream each. My friends got me a slice of cake. Thank you! The cake is super chocolate-y.

I don’t have school today. So in the evening, I went out and celebrated my birthday with justin. We went to city hall for dinner. Before dinner, we went some where so he can pass me my present. After which, we went to new york new york for dinner. Yummy! The food is nice.

I had a new york new york cup. The cup is super duper big! After dinner, we went to john little. I saw something super duper cute. It is a 3d-puzzle. OMG! It is super cute. I bought one small one and tried doing it. It is tough. Now I have a super cute apple. Haha!

And also, this is my birthday present! I think justin wants my teeth to drop. Damn! Chocolates, sweets, jelly, candy! SOOOO much!! =) And the best thing is, it is all my favourite. Maltesers chocolate, japanese jellies, famous amos cookie!
Thanks so much for taking time out to celebrate my birthday with me. You are really good. =) Looking at the present you gave me, I think you spent a lot of effort in putting the candies, cookie, chocolate and jellies that I love soo much!. I think you wasted so much money. Haha! Even so, the dinner is super nice. Thanks so much.

I had school in the morning again. I hate school. During my 2 hours break, I went to hall 3 to look for georgina. We had our lunch together and we took bus down to LKC for lecture. We almost got into an accident, thanks to jaywalking. Haha!
After lecture, we are supposed to go home. However, georgina don’t remember if she off the aircon. So we walk from LKC down to hall 3 again. And went to the bus stop and took bus home. Yawn! We are tired and worn off. We kept laughing and laughing in during the train ride, thanks to crappy me =x **kbox become kcircle! LOL!**
I came home, change and then went to meet up with bff and jp. They came to fetch me. We went down to vivocity and had dinner at bakerzin. It is my first time having dinner at bakerzin. We waited for quite some time before it is our turn to go in. It is super packed.
We ordered food and while waiting, we start taking photos. Today, jp brought her camera too. Next time, I shall spam my camera when I am with them. Actually, I don’t really dare to take photos when I am out with them because, I don’t know if they like it. So considerate of me =x
After dinner, we went to watch final destination. We were late for the movie. When it is time for movie, we are still waiting for our dessert to come. Damn! We were like ‘swallowing’ the food. I did not really appreciate the desserts. Eeek! I prefer the desserts. Haha!
We were 20 minutes late and the show have yet to start. The show is alright, besides being disgusting, nothing much. I got scare a couple of times and suay suay got saw by jp. She saw me jump~ After dinner, we headed home. Tired!

I think we seldom take a group photo together. And yes, if you realise, the both of them wore red! Damn! I look like some odd one out. And, after taking a photo outside bakerzin, bff kept saying that he is one head taller than me. Now, this explains why every time when they talk,  I need to stand in the middle, else I can’t hear them. Haha!

Every time when we go out, the two of you never fail to bring me to some places that I have never been before. I spent many “first time” with the two of you. (aw~ aren’t you honoured?! Haha!) It is saturday again! In the afternoon, I went out with jo and py for lunch at suki sushi @ somerset. Jo have been urging to go for sushi buffet. Cl was supposed to join us but she fall ill. Eek! So bad! Of all time, she fall ill this time.
We were talking, laughing and crapping. After the meal, I can only conclude, py is a huge eater and she doesn’t get fat! Damn! After eating, we went to orchard ion. Jo did not go there before so we decided to go there and walk around. We took the long long escalator and went some place to rest.
Jo suggested to go starbucks for coffee break. ok, we went there and we can’t find any seats. After waiting for some time, we decided to go coffee club. While going there, we realise that none of us have money to spare -.- We went to the atm to withdraw money and went coffee bean. It is my first time there. I had hazelnut ice blended! =)
Then, at around 5.40pm, we left and headed home. Py went to meet her friends at douby ghaut. Jo and I went home.
Right, it had been a long time since we took neoprint. I know, the top few aren’t really decorated. I don’t have the time to. Haha! When I was in secondary school, you can spend up to 2 hours to decorate the pictures. Now, we have only about 20 minutes or less. I feel so foreign to the machine. Yes, I suggested neoprint! Haha!
That is us down to orchard ion. We were sitting there and too bored~ Nothing for us to do! Haha!
Ok, the purpose of this picture is to compare our faces and make a ‘circle’ shape with our hands. Py just got a hair cut and she look so like xiao wan zi. In conclusion, I look the roundest. Haha! **py, your hairstyle is cute. I am serious! Not round at all. Haha!**

I realise, every year, during my birthday, jo sure suggest going sushi buffet together. Haha! I don’t understand why. It had been like that for years already. I think ever since I am in poly year 1, we had been going sushi buffet for my birthday celebration.
We are going to meet up again for jo’s last book out! We have known each other for a very long time. Thanks for listening to my problem always. Py, stop working so much! Every time, you are busy with work. I miss the times where we will meet downstairs and start crapping all night. Let’s do it again when lunar 7th month is over ok!
P.S. Ms Lee, can you please stop falling ill? Take good care of yourself! We are all missing you!!!

Just some random-ness, part 1

I was studying for chemistry the other day and I saw this formula, pV=nRT. Suddenly, it reminded me of a neoprint that I took with daryl and joseph in year 2006 december! And the most amazing thing was, we spent nearly 30 minutes just to write the inverted pV=nRT on the table.
Isn’t that amazing? Initially, when we took this photo, we were thinking to ‘put’ or write something on the table. We thought of many equations and finally, jo suggested pV=nRT. At that time, I only know it is some gas law. And now, I still only know that it is some gas law. How pathetic!
This photo is really ancient and it reminded me of the times where we will meet up every friday and go for dinner and pool at toa payoh. That was in the past, 2006.
3 years later, every thing changed.Or should I say, everything changed 1 year later. Thank goodness, we are still friends. Even so, it was never like before. I remember what limin use to say whenever there is a reverse process, “we were once so close”. Yes, she is right.

We were once so close, some chemical reaction happened. The result wasn’t what we wanted. We reverse the reaction but it will never go back to what it was previously.

It takes a lot of energy and courage to initiate for a chemical reaction. Whether the reaction is as desired, besides concentration, temperature, number of moles, it takes many other factors to make it happen. However, regardless did chemical reaction take place, when you try to reverse the reactant to back to where they used to be, it will never be the same.

Just some random-ness, part 2

Having to go through school for 4 weeks, I suddenly miss my time in poly and attachment. I love the period of time where I go work, do some programming and computing and go home. I am given a super thick book on visual studio and told to read up myself. I am supposed to read and try to do some programming from one platform to another using programming.
Writing, debugging, solving errors, drawing, doing up user interface – these are all within my job scope.
.c file, .dll file, .exe file – I learn to write code with all these kind of file extention.
C++, C#, XML, HTML – I learn to write and read too.
I miss the times where work is OTOT. Chee hoong doesn’t care about what I do, all he wants is final product. He doesn’t restrict the sources I use and he will give me full support. I’ve learn to write many more codes after attachment.
When I can’t think of the code to write, I will rest and relax, let my brain turn off and go read some online romance novel and cry whole day long. Such life is good and relax. I blog up to 18 times a day and I still continue blogging.
On top of all these, I met people I don’t like, ahem, I met new friends from sp, peijun and lilian, I get to know people from the g class, junlong, andrew, jolyn and I met super nice supervisor who gets suan by me always, chee hoong.
I am missing my time in poly~ I don’t like university~
I want to have fun~ =(
